Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-07-24 · العربية
1. Acceptance and Scope of the Terms
The Rahhala platform (the website and application) is operated by Rahhala Sadiq Al-Safar Establishment (مؤسسة رحّالة صديق السفر), an establishment registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under Unified National Number 7054788455. Use of the Rahhala platform (the website and application) constitutes explicit agreement to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines issued by the Platform. Use of the Platform is prohibited for anyone who does not agree to these Terms. The date and time of explicit consent are recorded upon account creation.
2. Ownership of User-Submitted Content
The User retains full ownership of all content they create on the Platform, including but not limited to: reviews, photos, suggested places, guide edits, questions and answers, local phrases, trip plans, and suggestions. Ownership of this content does not transfer to the Platform under any circumstances.
3. License Granted to the Platform
By using the Platform, the User grants Rahhala a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, display, copy, adapt, translate (between Arabic and English), quote, moderate, and create derivative works from the User's content. This license includes, without limitation: - Preparing automated summaries of reviews. - Extracting factual updates from reviews and incorporating them into official content. - Preparing aggregated, anonymized statistics and insights. - Incorporating the foregoing into data products, including licensed APIs, provided this is done exclusively in aggregated and anonymized form for anything beyond public display on the Platform.
4. Effect of Account Deletion on the License
Upon account deletion, the attribution of content to the user's personal identity is removed, while the license granted under Section (3) remains in effect for content already integrated into the Platform's structure prior to deletion. This includes approved edits to guide pages, extracted factual updates, and aggregated statistics.
5. Public Nature of Content
Public content — reviews, places, answers, and phrases — is visible to all visitors of the Platform, may be indexed by search engines, and may be quoted within the Platform. The User bears full responsibility for publishing any content they do not wish to be public.
6. Prohibited Content
The User is prohibited from publishing any of the following, and these rules are actively enforced through the Platform's approved moderation systems: (a) Personal contact numbers belonging to any individual. (b) Defamatory content targeting individuals identified by name, such as employees, drivers, or guides; permitted criticism is limited to the quality of the service provided and must not extend to the individuals themselves. (c) Impersonating official entities, or falsely claiming a “verified” or “certified” status. (d) Publishing promotional content, spam, or commercial advertising for any product or service is prohibited, including by business owners promoting their own business. A business owner must disclose their commercial capacity when participating on the Platform (such as replying to a review concerning their business); however, this disclosure does not permit them to publish any promotional or advertising content under any circumstances. (e) Nightlife and alcohol-related venues are not accepted as places or recommendations on this family-oriented Platform; references to them are limited to avoidance notices, planning purposes, and legal warnings, in accordance with the approved content policy. (f) False claims relating to safety, visas, or medications. (g) Anything that violates the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or public morals, and any offensive, discriminatory, or fabricated content, including fake reviews. (h) Publishing question or inquiry content within the reviews section, or publishing evaluative review content within the questions and discussion section, is prohibited; each member must use each section exclusively for its designated purpose.
7. Accounts and Age
Access to the Platform is limited to single sign-on (OAuth) methods through approved identity providers; the Platform does not adopt or store passwords directly. Activating publishing privileges requires completing the user profile, including name and nationality. The minimum age is 13 years old, and in no case lower than the minimum age adopted by the identity provider or the relevant requirements of Saudi law. The User bears full responsibility for their account and for the accuracy and lawfulness of what they publish.
8. Reputation and Tiers
Reputation points, traveler tiers, and publishing privileges are granted and adjusted at the Platform's sole discretion in service of content quality; they do not constitute a vested right for the User, hold no monetary value, and may not be transferred or sold.
9. Moderation and Appeals
The Platform's moderation system operates in two layers: automated checks at the time of publishing, and manual review by the Platform's staff (administrators and moderators). The Platform reserves the right to hide or remove any violating content, and to suspend or ban violating accounts, in accordance with the rules published in these Terms. The User is provided an appeal path with human review for any action taken by automated systems, and decisions on sensitive matters remain subject to mandatory human review by the Platform's staff. Any content may be reported through the reporting mechanism available on the Platform.
10. Critical Information Fields
Visa, safety, key-laws, medication, and emergency-number fields are exclusively controlled by the Platform and are updated from verified sources. Member contributions to these fields pass through a suggestions queue subject to review prior to publication, and are never published directly under any circumstances. Automated systems may not publish any change to visa data automatically, regardless of the calculated confidence level.
11. Disclaimer
Travel information on the Platform is provided for guidance purposes only and does not constitute legal or medical advice. Visa data is subject to change at any time, and the User is responsible for verifying it against the official source before travel. Displayed flight times are computed estimates from major Gulf airports and do not represent official flight schedules. Costs are shown as approximate ranges. Crowd calendars are fallible forecasts. Reviews and community content represent the personal opinions of their authors and do not represent the Platform's position. The “Verified Trip” badge and reputation points are internal Platform indicators and do not constitute a guarantee of accuracy. Content labeled as an “automated summary” is machine-generated and may contain errors. External links, including links to official entities and partner links, lead to third parties outside the Platform's control. The Platform may in the future earn a commission from clearly marked links, at no additional cost to the User. The Service is provided on an “as is” basis without any guarantee of availability, and features may be modified at any time. The Platform bears no responsibility for travel decisions made based on its content.
12. Commercial Commitments and Separation of Advertising from Ranking
There is currently no advertising or paid/sponsored content on the Platform. Should this be introduced in the future, any paid or sponsored content will be displayed with a visible label and in spaces separate from original content. Commissions or sponsorships may under no circumstances influence the ranking of destinations, places, or comparison results. This commitment is binding under these Terms.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In the event of any dispute related to these Terms or the use of the Platform, the courts of Saudi Arabia shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve it.
14. Amendment of Terms
The Platform may update these Terms. The User will be notified of any material amendment within the Platform or via email, with a clearly specified effective date. Continued use of the Platform by the User after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
