✈️ First 24 Hours

Tabuk airport runs dense domestic and some international flights; rent (ideally 4WD) right at the airport — ride apps work inside the city only.

🗓️Best time to visit

October–April; Tabuk winters get genuinely cold (near-zero nights) and its peaks sometimes snow.

📸Top activities & landmarks

  • Wadi Disah (2h south) — finest in late afternoon
  • Tabuk fort and the Hejaz railway station
  • Ras Sheikh Humaid beaches and the Catalina wreck
  • Jabal al-Lawz in winter

🏨Where to stay

Tabuk-city hotels are the base (SAR 250–550) — Disah itself has no tourist lodging yet, so plan it as a day return.

⚠️Tips & warnings

Disah's inner wadi needs 4WD (or park and walk). Distances are huge: the beaches sit 2.5–3h from town — don't cram it into two days. Neighboring NEOM isn't a visitable destination yet.

📍 On the ground

Getting around: Rent (ideally 4WD) at the airport. Disah lies 2h south ending in a sandy wadi track; the beaches 2.5–3h northwest on excellent, empty highways.

🏨 Where do Gulf travelers stay?: Central Tabuk: fort, souqs, most hotels. Al Muruj/Al Wurud: newer family flats. Disah and the Ras Sheikh Humaid coast: effectively no lodging — day trips from town.

Cost figures: Hotels SAR 250–550. A 4WD Disah day with driver ~SAR 400–700. Fuel and distance are a real line item: pin fuel stops before the long coast roads.

⏱️How many days?

3-4 days

Suggested plan:

  1. Day 1: Fort, railway station, city souqs
  2. Day 2: Wadi Disah
  3. Day 3: Ras Sheikh Humaid beaches
  4. Day 4: Jabal al-Lawz or Maghayir Shuaib
