Getting around: Haramain train to Makkah and Jeddah, city buses on the main axes, and the Central Zone itself is fully walkable (electric carts for elders in the plazas). Quba and the Seven Mosques run a few riyals by Uber.
🏨 Where do Gulf travelers stay?: The Central Zone ringing the Haram: everything on foot, priced by proximity. Qurban and Awali: price balance with bus links. King Fahd Road and Sultanah: dining and family shopping.
