Getting around: Pre-agreed taxis or Uber/InDriver — no metro line genuinely covers the city except one limited elevated line. Miraflores, Barranco and San Isidro walk with relative safety by day.
Halal & prayer places: Effectively the country's only source — the Bab ul-Islam mosque in Jesús María is ringed by a handful of halal shops; declared options are rare outside this district.
