⚠️Tips & warnings
Jubbah needs a guide or prior reading, or it reads as 'just rocks' — the value is context. Frankly: tourism infrastructure trails AlUla by miles and upscale hotels barely exist.
📍 On the ground
Getting around: Rent at the airport — Jubbah is an hour north and the Nafud needs 4WD to enter the sands (or keep to graded stops). Never take a sedan onto the dunes however 'firm' they look.
🏨 Where do Gulf travelers stay?: Central Hail (Barzan): souqs, the fort, the main hotels. Airport/ring-road districts: family flats. The Nafud edge: serviced winter camps — book the licensed ones.
