Getting around: 8–9 hours from Kampala by car, or a domestic flight to Kihihi/Kisoro airstrip (~1h). The trek itself is on foot in the forest with porters and armed rangers.
Halal & prayer places: Very limited — a remote area; only larger lodges cater halal, with confirmed written advance notice days ahead.
