Few major hotels within the islands themselves — most stays are serviced apartments or short-term rentals; it can also be visited as a half-day from Manama.

Book beach-club tables ahead on weekends (Thursday–Friday are busiest). Check each venue's dress code and alcohol policy before choosing if you're looking for a fully halal, family atmosphere.
📍 On the ground
Getting around: No dedicated bus line — reached by car or taxi/Uber over the bridge (about 20 minutes from Manama). Getting around within the islands themselves is easy on foot or by golf cart in some complexes.
Halal & prayer places: A mixed scene like Adliya or Zallaq — plenty of halal restaurants along Amwaj Drive, but beach clubs like Solymar and marina venues serve alcohol and host evening parties; halal is strongly present but not the sole standard everywhere.
