Getting around: Heritage sites are visited on official tour buses only (no free driving inside Hegra) — book tours first and build around them. Between town and sites: your car or the local platform taxis; the airport sits 35 minutes out.
🏨 Where do Gulf travelers stay?: The Old Town strip: dining and arts along the heritage road. Ashar/Al Udhaib valley: luxury resorts and desert calm. Desert camps and cabins: the signature stay — book months out for winter season.
